Tom Suozzi, the U.S. representative for New York's 3rd district, disclosed yesterday that he made over 10 new trades in September. Congressman Suozzi made seven $15,000 - $50,000 worth of trades, including selling shares of International Paper (IP: US) and Domino’s Pizza (DPZ: US).

Interestingly, Mr. Suozzi sold DPZ shares at a market closing price of $324.74 on September 26. Shares of the pizza restaurant chain fell to around $300 in early October before racing higher last week on better-than-expected results.

Other bigger trades that Congressman Suozzi made were all purchases. The Congressman was buying shares of Valero Energy (VLO: US) and Generac Holdings (GNRC: US), as well as stocks of chipmakers Advanced Micro Devices (AMD: US) and Nvidia Corp (NVDA: US).

Mr. Suozzi reported taking part in buying Nvidia shares on two occasions, both in the range of $15,000 - $50,000.

Other trades that the Representative from New York reported were all valued between $1,000 - $15,000. These include buying more AMD and GNRC shares and selling Boeing Co (BA: US) and Jazz Pharmaceuticals (JAZZ: US) stocks.

Congressman Suozzi is an active stock market trader with 350 reported trades in the past 3 years. Nvidia is his favorite stock for trading regarding the number of transactions made and volume. Other stocks that Mr. Suozzi often trades include AMD and Apple (AAPL: US). Hence, it is not surprising that IT is his favorite sector for trading, followed by Consumer Discretionary and Financials.

Congressman Suozzi serves on the House Committee for Ways and Means.
