Diana Harshbarger,  the U.S. representative for Tennessee's 1st congressional district, disclosed yesterday that she made nearly 150 trades in July and August.

Among the bigger trades in terms of size, the Congresswoman disclosed she invested between $50,000 and $100,000 in U.S. Treasury Note on August 3. Filings show that Harshbarger bought U.S. Treasury Note more frequently, although in smaller sizes.

As far as individual stocks are concerned, Harshbarger invested between $1,000 and $15,000 in Broadcom (AVGO: US) in three separate trades on July 22. Investing in the California-based chipmaker isn’t a novelty for the Congresswoman, as she made 4 similar trades in June, as disclosed on August 02.

On the same day, Harshbarger also bought Comcast (CMCSA: US) stock in four trades. The same value range - $1,000 and $15,000 -  applies for four General Mills (GIS: US) purchases made on July 22. The same pattern was followed for trades involving NortonLifeLock (NLOK: US), Adobe (ADBE: US) and Willis Towers Watson (WTW: US) was followed.

Around the same time, the Congresswoman was also busy selling stocks. The sales on her list were Take-Two Interactive Software (TTWO: US), Alliant Energy (LNT: US), Analog Devices (ADI: US), Walmart (WMT: US), Stellantis (STLA: US), and Autodesk (ADSK: US).

In August, Harshbarger sold shares of Alphabet class C (GOOG: US), American Campus Communities (ACC: US), as well as further decreasing her stake in Take-Two Interactive Software stock.

This strong trading activity resumed later in August with the Congresswoman buying shares of PayPal (PYPL: US), Verisign (VRSN: US), Micron Technology (MU: US), and oil business Schlumberger (SLB: US). At around the same time, she sold shares of Baker Hughes (BKR: US), Western Digital (WDC: US), and Oshkosh (OSH: US).
