Jim Langevin, the U.S. representative for Rhode Island's 2nd congressional district since 2001, has continued to focus his trading activity on just a few stocks, according to the latest filings.

For the month of August, Langevin disclosed that he made 4 trades involving shares of Block (SQ: US), including a sale on August 05 that was valued in the range of $100,000 - $250,000, at closing price of $87.73.

The Congressman made two more sales while he also bought shares on August 09 for an amount between $50,000 and $100,000. Elsewhere, Congressman Langevin also disclosed that he sold shares of DoorDash (DASH: US) on two occasions in August before buying more shares at a later date.

The buy trade was reported for a value of $15,000 - $50,000, closed at price of $68.18. The Congressman also sold $1,000  to $15,000 worth of Airbnb (ABNB: US) shares on August 10.

Interestingly, filings from August show that Langevin made 3 trades in July, with each one being the sale of these 3 respective stocks. The story for the month of July is very similar to his August trades, although Langevin disclosed back then that he was an aggressive buyer of U.S. equities during the June selloff.

For instance, Langevin bought $50,000 to $100,000 worth of Block shares on June 09 SQ share price closed at $76.58, paving the way for a sale of SQ shares in August at a higher price.

Langevin sits on the House committees in charge of Armed Services and Homeland Security. His favorite sectors for trading are Communication Services, Industrials, IT, and Consumer Discretionary. In addition to this, Block shares are one of the 4 most traded stocks by Langevin, including Generac Holding (GNRC: US), Meta Platforms (META: US), and Huya (HUYA: US)
