This Congresswoman Saw Returns Of Over 20% on an Aerospace Company; Check Out 3 Dividend Stocks She Recently Purchased

The U.S. Representative Diana Harshbarger executed stock purchases in Lockheed Martin (LMT:US) and PNC Financial Services Group (PNC:US) in October 2022, which saw positive returns of nearly 22.5% and 2.4% respectively till the end of the year. 

According to Capitol Trades, the Congresswoman has been actively involved in stock trading over the past three and a half years, conducting more than 3,000 trades. As of October 4, she became the largest trader in Congress. On October 21, Harshbarger disclosed selling shares of Northrop Grumman (NOC:US), Coca-Cola (KO:US), AutoZone (AZO:US), and Walmart (WMT:US), as reported by Capitol Trades.

Let's now focus on three dividend stocks that Representative Harshbarger purchased in the month of October.

The first investment of the lawmaker was executed in Domino's Pizza Inc (DPZ:US) which offered a dividend yield of nearly 1.15% or equivalent to $4.40 per share annually back in 2022. The pizza manufacturer has a track record of consistently increasing dividends for eight consecutive years. On October 21, Representative Harshbarger acquired shares of Domino's Pizza through undisclosed purchase orders, ranging between $1,000 - $15,000, at a closing price of $321.56 per share. Joint and spouse holdings purchase orders were also filed for the same stock and date.

The second investment by the lawmaker was made on the same date in Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings Inc (KNX:US), a transportation firm that provided a dividend yield of around 0.84%, or $0.48 per share annually back in 2022. In this trade, the Congresswoman also filed two undisclosed purchase orders for Knight-Swift ranging between $1,000 to $15,000 in shares, at a price of $47.41 per share.

The third and last purchase by the lawmaker was of McKesson Corporation (MCK:US) shares. The pharma firm offered a dividend yield of almost 0.56% or $2.16 per share annually, with an impressive track record of increasing dividends for 15 consecutive years. Similar to her previous trades, she bought stakes in the firm in two undisclosed trades, both ranging in value of $1000 - $15,000.
