Sempra Energy serves more than 40 million consumers worldwide and is recognized as one of the largest utility-holding companies in the United States. The firm offered a dividend yield of almost 2.86% or $4.58 per share annually in 2022, with quarterly payments.

According to Evans' disclosure, he increased his holdings of Sempra Energy on November 14, 2022, with an investment amount of $1,000 - $15,000. The price paid per share for this purchase was $155.61, as reported by Capitol Trades.
