Kathy Manning, the U.S. representative from North Carolina's 6th congressional district, remains to be one of the most active stock market traders in Congress.

The Congresswoman reported she made over 50 trades in October, both on the long and short sides of the market. Most of the reported trades were in smaller value ranges - $1,000 to $15,000 - with one trade priced between $100,001 to $250,000.

On the long side, Manning was buying shares of 3M Co (MMM:US), Google parent Alphabet (GOOGL:US), Amazon (AMZN:US), as well as chipmakers Broadcom (AVGO:US), Intel (INTC:US), Nvidia (NVDA:US), and Applied Materials (AMAT:US), among others.

Congresswoman Manning also sold shares of Qualcomm (QCOM:US), Nike (NKE:US), McDonald’s (MCD:US), Coca-Cola (KO:US), Adobe (ADBE:US), Costco (COST:US), etc.

Standing out from amongst several trades by Rep. Manning was the timely sale of Meta Platforms (META:US) shares worth between $1,000 - $15,000 when the stock price closed at $127.50. This was relatively well predicted given that META stock was trading below $90 per share at the beginning of November.

Rep. Manning sits on the House committees for Education & Labor, as well as for Foreign Affairs. She often trades tech stocks, led by Nvidia, Alphabet, and Microsoft.
